This is a picture of Seema and myself. She emailed me last month and asked if I was coming up to Seattle soon and if we could do a day of deep diving. We are definitely cheesing it up here, mostly because we were totally in the groove of our day well spent.
We met up in the morning and brainstormed, discussed, and drafted a full plan to get her to her next steps she was looking for.
We broke for lunch and chatted some more while eating our delicious salads. After strolling around for a bit we wrapped our (cold) hands around a mug of tea and got clear on the remaining items before she left.
I asked her if we could take a photo to share on social media and she spontaneously said, “Of course! This was exactly what I was looking for. So many concrete ideas and such a productive day!”
I call that a Deep Dive mission accomplished. We have a follow up one-on-one session planned in a couple weeks and I’m looking forward to hearing the progress she has made and making any tweaks we need to for her next steps.

The Deep Dive comes with three components —
A Pre-Dive — We’ll have a 20 minute check-in call and discuss your goals for our time together.
The Day of the Dive — The Schedule for the day is flexible, but generally begins around 9:00 AM and winds up around 3:00 PM. We’ll sweat together, dig in and rewrite your rules, and come out on the other end with a solid plan of where you’re going and why.
- Sweat and Snack — 9 AM — We’ll start our day with a workout session together to jumpstart our brains and then celebrate after we’re done with some green juice and a snack.
- Let’s Rewrite the Rules — 10:30 AM — Then we’ll dive in for a couple of hours and talk about what needs to change, where you want to go, and how to get you there.
- Lunch Time! — 12:30 PM — We’ll break for a healthy and tasty lunch and continue the conversation.
- Digging Deeper over Tea — 1:30 PM — Then we’ll spend the rest of our time over some tea digging deeper together and formulating a plan so you can hit the ground running!
A Post-Dive — One week after our day together we’ll have a check-in session in person or via video chat. This session is meant to solidly your next steps and get you sailing on your way to the changes you want to make in your life.
