Three Things — Jet-lagged + Happy

Three Things, my Wednesday post series, inspired by my love for bite-sized, tiny but mighty pieces of information.

One. This —

I want to see more things like Stranger Things actor David Harbour posing for a fan’s senior photos. And a whole lot less of a person who describe other people’s homeland as a ‘shithole’. That’s the long and short of it.

Two. I lost a day. —

Between packing and moving, flying for 24 hours and a bus ride I lost a day. It’s gone. But I gained back Italy. I’ll take it. While I’m lacking on sleep, I’m still managing to post my face off over on Instagram stories if you want to see what the latest is. It absolutely includes pasta, the best cappuccino in Abruzzo, and pictures of our new apartment.

__________

Three. It all begins with quality ingredients. —

When asked where I live in Italy, my reply of “Abruzzo,” rarely rings a bell of recognition. But after waxing poetic about her many virtues, people are often ready to climb on the plane with me. I think this is a good move. This article in CNN gives you ten of the many reasons you’ll want to bookmark this region for your next trip.

Yesterday I flew back myself after being gone for far too long. Maria I’m honored we share a love for this region and I cannot wait to see you in both Rome and Abruzzo very soon.

Cookingwithrosy, BRAVA! Now everyone has a chance to experience the love and traditions poured into each dish at your table, just as I do.
