Three Things — Kudos.
Three Things, my Wednesday post series, inspired by my love for bite-sized, tiny but mighty pieces of information.
One. This —
I keep a document called “Kudos,” in my Google Drive. l open it occasionally and read through. Not because my ego needs to be stroked, but because sometimes it’s nice to be reminded of who you are and the people who see you.
__________
Two. “Reveal It.” —
It may sound like rhyme-y BS, but I’m with Jay on this. The things I don’t want to write about are the ones I must. It takes me overcoming a fair bit of resistance to sit down and pour it out. With enough time and working the words, self-judgement eventually releases its grip to understanding and forgiveness. But to reach the sweet spot, I first had to be brave enough to pull it back out and examine it.

Three. The Art of the Ask. —
So much of THE ASK has nothing to do with the question, and everything to do with the way you’ve posed it. So much of communication has nothing to do with the words, and everything to do with the way they’re spoken.
So much of what is understood, has nothing to do with the message, and everything to do with the way it’s written.
Amen, Ash, you genius.
This is especially true for this sweet story she shared last week.
